About Us

District Cycle Store was founded in 2017 by owner Brett Tyack. Describing himself as a washed up BMX racer, Brett's passion for BMX has seen District Cycle Store grow from a small 55 square meter shop to becoming one of Australia's larger online retailers of BMX bikes, parts and accessories. Mid 2021 we decided to focus solely on BMX and for 2022 the store will be rebranding as DISTRICT BMX. Although primarily based online, our new warehouse location also includes a retail showroom for local riders to stop by, check out the latest and chat about all things BMX. The stoke is high and we're looking forward to growing our presence and support for BMX here in Australia.
